    When the timpani crashes, I fear I would accidentally slash something! Perhaps the Ingemisco would provide a more soothing background? Maybe Björling or Carreras? ;)

    Today's shave started off terrible because the Dorco blade was tugging badly, so I switched to a Derby which I transplanted from another razor and the ends justified the means - a very comfortable BBS shave. This Polar Vortex soap packs a wicked menthol punch - ok, not like a Glacial soap but definitely around Rod's Frozen Tundra. It also lathers so rich and easily. The Lucky Tiger/Snake Bite duo were an awesome soothing and freezing end! :happy088: :happy088:

    Lather: Stirling Ozark Mountain
    Post: Witch hazel splash, Stirling Ozark Mountain aftershave, Nivea sensitive balm
    WTG, touch-up

    Another nice shave with Stirling Ozark Mountain. Great scent, terrific performance - what's not to like? I'm interested to see how many shaves I can get from this sample. This is shave #5 with no sign of loss. Stirling lasts forever.

    I have something lined up for tomorrow which carries a much lower risk of self mutilation, it's a little less invigorating however.

    Soap: Catie's Bubbles "Noah L'Orange"
    Brush: Brushguy Shave Supplies "Noah" 3-band Silvertip
    Razor: Phoenix Shaving Stainless DOC Evolution w/ Feather HS blade (1)
    Post: Royall Lyme Bermuda Ltd. "Royall Spyce"

    After some discussion last night about what next year's Noah soap will be, I realized I hadn't given this one much love lately. The more I use it, the more I love it. Cypress up front and Citrus in the back. I finally threw caution to the wind and ran a Feather in the DOC. No blood! Amazing! Granted, I was being exceptionally careful, but was rewarded with a great finish. Oh, and Royall Spyce pairs SO nicely with the soap. It was awesome.

    Another excellent shave with the Parker. I'm more impressed with it every day. The GSB blade is done but still managed to provide a fine shave today. Life is good. Now go enjoy your day folks.

    A/S: Aqua Velva AS/Hibco nag Champa Butter Balm
    Newspaper Date: July 18,1945

    Wow! One fine shave. Outside of being a little aggressive, I believe it was the closest 1st pass I`ve ever experienced. The 2nd pass (slightly wetter) finished the shave off. A very minor clean up where I usually have problems. `nuff said. Here`s to the same for all. God`s Speed to all.
