Just finished up a few for friends on here @twhite Finished on my select grade Coticule @Redfisher Oooooo Zulu Grey Final finish on yer Torrey Hone on gents
That is my personal one in the pics above under the Torrey I have been testing these for some years now, That one was the 5th I had tested for people, it was gifted to me .. I have probably honed on 7-10 of them now, I have found them to be quite nice and Michael is running a sale on them right now.. Just use the code: take50 You'll also receive a free slurry stone per hone with your order If I did not own a very good Thüringen or Escher this is the stone I would want
Same as me.he promised to send it on friday but it still says procesing.because of the 50% offer he had a lot of orders.my order was made 29/10.hope he will ship soon
Nice try. I like what is being said about them. If I didn't have my PC crash on me the other day, and my wife just buying a new laptop today, I might be tempted. I'm working off of a small Kindle tablet now, and cannot do half of what I like. 50% does sound tempting.
I Just Honed this Sheffield Near Wedge for a Forum Member..Man..It Took a Moment on the Bevel Hone...This was How I Got it..I Had to Re Jig the Whole Edge from Heel to Toe & Farfe about with Loads of Tape.. A Wee Challenge to Set the Bevel..It Took a Killer Edge..Wicked..Eventually... Billy..
I had one like that. It took 6-8 strips of tape. It was a near wedge, with the spine area buffed down. I would rather sellers not over buff a blade, and leave some rust or tarnish. Some don't think about usability, they over polish, which screws with the dimensions.
I've tried one in the past and really like the feel as a natural finisher. I wasnt ready to invest in one at that time, but 50% off certainly got my attention. Now the wait begins….
