I enjoyed the bitterly-cold shave that I had this morning so much that I'm going to repeat it with another Glacial scented soap, balm, and witch hazel. The Wintergreen rocks!

 

Did you get much snow?

 

Oh, around 5 cm or so. Maybe 7 and it's still snowing lightly.

 

We got more than that, but it is manageable. The snow has stopped here.

 

Jared, to this day I cannot believe how good this soap is. The menthol effect to me at least, kicks the Cryogen's out of the park! It has the same beautiful scent that the regular MITA has, the same perfect lather, and the same great skincare. What a soap!

 

Dec 12: Excellent shave just now. Same Merkur 34c, Omega Hi Brush synthetic, Stirling Bay Rum and Dove Post Shave Balm (first time - very nice) and my bowl. New blade tested. The Gillette 7 O'Clock Sharp Edge (yellow package). Very nice blade. Seemed to be pretty sharp. A smooth nonirritating shave needing little clean up. I will add this blade to the top category of the 18 blades I'm testing. I am also going to order a number of other blades not included in my sample pack - so the test will continue for awhile longer. I will retry all the top blades after that for a final ranking. But I feel good right now - makes a gloomy, rainy, northwest day seem a lot brighter.

Another fine shave produced by a vintage Gillette Open Comb. Three passes and a great BBS shave which is very smooth.
