Thank you. I didn't know about the clay, I had to look it up. They do not. It is a very brownish soap though. It is also my only one, so I don't know if they are all brownish, or if it is an Espresso scent thing.

I will say this: it is simply excellent soap. You can see by the shine just on that brush lather that it is SLICK stuff. I don't know if I would replace that particular scent, but I would definitely buy more Reef Point, or recommend it.

 

I love the pics you take on that background. Is it a chest of some sort?

My new morning companion is Nutmeg. She came to us about 7 weeks ago and has wormed her way into all of our hearts. She's started coming in to the bathroom and watching me shave. I asked her to wait this morning while I grabbed my phone. She did. Tabby cat with some Bengal in her, she is energetic and playful.

Thanks, Jared. It's a box I keep some of my razors in. I figured it was something my wife would not mind too much being on the counter. She wasn't a huge fan, but hasn't made me put it someplace else. Have a great day!

Today's shave was very nice. Love the eb and flow of the salter vetiver and the cooled sweetness of Crusella&Co. The triangle ported tech did a marvelous job, completely smooth and beyond comfy. I don't think I could cut myself if i tried. But performed so well.

My Manx/Siamese kitten has to come in while I'm shaving and fall asleep between my feet. Cat's are weird.

 

Well, it makes a perfect backdrop. It isn't distracting, but gets my attention enough that I always want to see more of it.

Another decadent December shave is in the books! I love how mild the Ikon X3 feels and yet it is still a very efficient razor. The Personna IR is a very fine blade and pairs well with the Ikon X3. I also think that I am getting better at making lather in a hot scuttle. I got a very nice, thick, and very warm lather out of the La Toja last night which made the shave even more decadent. I practiced on skin stretching some more as well as using my left hand. The shave proceeded a little slowly but I went for the full three pass routine and was happy to see the baby waiting for me at the end.Have a great day my friends!

Hotel shave, no picture. I hand lathered the Pacific cream. Decent shave. Not the best but not the worst either. It'll work just fine.

I am in Chicago for a conference, but came up a day early with my wife to celebrate her birthday today! We're going to bundle up and head out to explore and eat.
