What Straight Razor Did You Use Today?

It worked its magic in one pass.

 

One of my best shaves today. Super close and minimal alum noise. This was the straight that gave me my first satisfying shave and it always performs.

Steson's Little wonder

Had a wonderful shave with my freshly honed Fisher. 3 pass and a cleanup on my neck. I usually do not do a cleanup, but this little 4/8 was so smooth. A true DFS+ tonight.

On a side note this Tuxedo knot is i credibly soft. A must have in every den. By the way I am a Boar Head.

Tonight's Shave, was with a nice French Faux Frameback Razor. It was a two pass shave that was very smooth, with almost BBS results.

I find myself really drawn to French designs. They are so elegant.

Same Robinson and bros, razor. Most likely riding this pony till Christmas, when Santa brings me a couple new ones
Last night was a crappy shave as we we running late and I was reminded of it the entire second pass. Tonight made up for it , nice unhurried 3 pass bbs. Finished off with a fist full of VIBR, dang that stuff lets you know that your not dead yet. I think I like the scent better than any after shave....even the Veg

 

When you are rushed just put the straight razor down and pick up a DE or SE or cart. That is how I got my scars.

 

Luckily I didn't draw blood, but I didn't get a very close shave. I just hate feeling any remaining stubble. I didn't even think about grabbing another razor. Tunnel vision you know.......

Good quality, top-performing soaps with very nice scents. Sweet people, too. I have five of their soaps (Honor, Fortitude, Courage, Devotion & Influence) with matching balms.

Tonights shave was with one that's in my regular rotation. Its a German Extra Hollow Ground that takes a wickedly sharp edge. Two pass very very smooth results.

Razor- The "Gong Razor"

 

A "Motivated" shave this blustery cold winter evening with a cucumber, bamboo scented soap by Soap Commander. Slick and thick, three pass bbs, finished off with a generous splash of the Veg. Smelling great, just like the cat whizzed in the salad
