I know a lot of folks run screaming from the Super AC blades but my morning full beard and head shave using a trimmed blade with the mild plate and DIY shave gel was beautifully close and smooth. Definitely milder than Colonial using the same blades. Indeed will probably try again with the classic plate. Is this necessary? No. Science.

Wonderful shave with the PAL Injecto-Matic this morning. Excellent lather from the Arko Extra Performance shave cream. Three refreshing passes for a dolphin smooth finish. Have a great day guys. :)

Sale on Colonial General heads today. The pic says tomorrow, but it was a post from yesterday, and I forgot to put it up here.

Whilst still on a learning curve with a Modern SE, I realised that perhaps I had let my technique slip when using my other razors. As a consequence the Shaves with the new SE seemed exceptional. I decided then when shaving I would practice a light touch , take care and no rush. Since then have shaved this way with a variety of Vintage SE/Injectors all with good results.
Today used an Ever Ready Natural Angle [ HFT - British G Bar ] and though it is not renowned for producing the closest of Shaves, even with a blade on 5th use I got one of my best ever shaves with it.

Switched the Super to the classic plate for some touch up on my head shave... Was soon singing "Oh Mary don't you weep" ... Will try a Pro another time.

Well I enjoyed the Supply Provision razor. Did 6 shaves with the Personna blade and the blade did not dissapoint, very smooth and sharp same as the GEM PTFE SS counterpart. I could of probably gone up to 8-9 shaves, but I'm happy with 6. The razor shaved very good on all 3 plates, but I settled for the 3 dot plate because it offered less buffing vs the other plates. My first injector ever and liking it a lot and for sure is a keeper. Build quality is high and that's to be expected from SS razor, the final finishes and touches are just a very small notch below the Rockwell 6s but mostly on par with it. It does give the same vibe as when I bought the Rockwell 6s AKA knowing you've bought a very good product and you didn't splurged a lot.

I think the Clog-pruf is the best of the lot...I have so much respect for the micromatic design...They beat Gillette to the TTO be
Punch, and with so much style...I love how the head closes, grabs the blade and slides forward til the blade is in the optimal shaving position. GEM had a winning and knew it. And this Clog-pruf took the original to perfection IMHO!
Just about perfect in every way!

Another unattached shaver succumbs to the seductive charms of the PAL Injecto-matic....Do I hear wedding bells? You better watch out...She might make an honest shaver out of you :happy108:

Hey, you won't be the first...That is one fine shaving machine you have there...high underated and missunderstood in the US...but now, folks are starting to get hip!

It actually might be a bit too late. In addition to the Golden Black handled version , I have got some white handled ones. I have heard it referred to as a " Schick Buster ", and tend to agree.

Again by focusing on Shaving technique I am rewarded with another super shave with an oldie. As it was a Clog Pruf [ a brass one] was closer than yesterdays shave with the HFT.

Excellent shave this morning with the Schick N1 injector razor fitted with a twin blade. Marvelous lather from the Tabac shave stick. Three passes for a refreshing dolphin smooth finish. Have a great day guys. :)

Thats mine, or a cased set just like mine, on the top right....
Yep....although, I still have a couple Schicks that hold their own...But the PAL is a force to be reckoned with, and a quite enjoyable one at that...The PAL Bows to No One.....
