No, I already got my Secret Santa gift. I think I have a few leads.

Dec 16: A most excellent shave this afternoon. As always - I shave in the afternoon on Fridays to get ready for date night. Merkur 34c, Captain's Choice bowl, a new Omega 20107 Professional Boar brush, another great B&M soap (Bay Rum this time) and a splash of Fine Platinum. The blade this time (as part of my ongoing test) was the Voskhod. Boy this is getting hard. I now have several blades that have given me really great shaves. I need to add the Voskhod to the list. Sharp and very smooth. No irritation and only the slightest of touch up needed. Really nice blade.

 

Too cold for me to think about Osage....brrrr

 

1. PAA pre shave ice soap
2. PAA Cold Spice cream with semogue 820 for brush... bowl lather and probably enough for 6 passes. I like tons of lather. .. more and more product for me.
3. 1970 gillette black beauty set on 4.
4. Thayers lemon
5. Old spice lime from early to mid 70's

 

Nice 'n soft. Just wish it held more lather.

 

Thanks, it was the first brush that I re-knoted and its pretty much my daily driver.

It is. I am really enjoying it.

 

I've found when a Schick E is not preforming as expected either the "neck" has been bent misaligning the head or the connection to the handle has loosened causing the head to "chatter" as it were. Good luck figuring it out E2s are great shavers IMHO.
