Nice haul! That Godrej shaving round is a diamond in the haystack. Excellent performance, light scent, not much mention about it, but there is a key imprinted in the bottom of the puck. Very good stuff, the cream is a good product as well, but the shaving round is something special. Enjoy!

    I'll second that.
Godrej is excellent shaving cream. All the shave creams I have tried are excellent. From what I've read, India has Goverment standards that all shave creams must meet. Plus, it's fairly inexpensive. Plus, plus.

Thanks Redfisher, a few weeks before they'll see some action though, a little clean up and honing to be done.

They appear to be Japanese in origin? You have a great source going for nice blades.

Just arrived. Its a DOVO W. Germany. One of my unobtainables, because the prices have always been too high. I lucked out and got the razor and strop for $30. I need to polish it up a bit, and take it to the stones. It all looks in nice barely used shape.
Any Idea about the approximate age?

Received this Brad Sears brush from the drop he had earlier this week.
This was a 'seconds' brush as it's been in storage for a while and the knot looks a bit 'wild' in some places - so it was reduced by 40-50% down to about $50.
Not bad at all when I received it and the Muhle "Silvertip" synthetic feels absolutely amazing.
The handle shape is different but very, very comfortable.

Thanks guys. I just heard the round is like one of those things like Williams, a classic (at least for India), cheap, and you either love it or hate it. Fits the bill for me to try! My friend thought I was a little crazy for wanting it since it was something his father shaved with for decades as a no frills soap. I got lucky because he went to like 6 little convenience stores and could not find the round. He said it kind of became a mission to find. Finally, he bought the cream and gave up. The night before leaving, he went to a larger grocery type store for some things and found the round. Because it was a last minute purchase and the stuff was small, he just backed it in his main bag. If that wasn't lucky enough, the luggage that he packed everything else he bought to bring home got lost and they have not found it yet. Now I gladly owe him a beer!

Nothing too fancy, but there is a local Avon store in town. I like my Black Suede so I figured I'd stop and see what they had still available for men. There's actually about 6 different aftershave lotions. I picked these two up for now.

Black Suede Essential and Mesmerise Black.
