A very nice afternoon shave, thanks to advise from @HolyRollah . I was thinking I might have to take this one to the hones again, because it just wasn't staying sharp enough. Thanks to some advise, I used the Linen strop more than I had, 20 linen and 40 leather strokes before the shave, or after the shave. In any case, 20 linen strokes in there somewhere. This brought the blade back to the original wicked sharp edge I remembered. It popped a fine hair, effortlessly, all the way down the edge.
I obtained a buttery smooth 2 pass shave, without any nicks, cuts, or weepers.

Once that stops working, if you put some chromium oxide on a linen strop and give it 20 strokes or so, it will bring it back yet again. Once properly honed, a blade can go for a considerable time before needing to be touched up on a stone.

    Bow Wow.

I use Cromium Oxide, but the edge declined faster than I liked, and since it was one of my early hone jobs, I thought it was my techniques with the stones. I'm just happy it was just not enough time with the linen. Much easier problem to solve.

So I thought I would give the stripping video a try and see if it would improve my shave. My girl friend was not thrilled about it and didn't buy my explanation that it would improve my shave.

Another fantastic bbs shave with the Robinson and brothers. One thing nice about having a limited supply of straights; I can really get to know these razors. I can now consistently get better shaves than I can get with the injectors. Nailing the fools pass clinched it. Now I do have a couple of Japanese and a new Dovo on the way. That should ( hopefully) temper the rad for at least awhile;)

I just received this from Glen @gssixgun he did the hone job on this. VERY smooth shave with this. This is my first shave with a wedge. I really like how it just glides thru my beard.
