  1. Great looking setup with a beautiful brush amigo.
  2. Thank you Doug. I hope you are feeling better this morning.
  3. If you are a guy who appreciates blade feel (I am), that is one of the biggest things to get used to with a Schick. They are a style of shaving all unto themselves.
  4. I would buy that.
  5. I don't recall seeing any direct comparisons yet either. One gentleman on TSR just got his yesterday, so we should be seeing some thoughts soon.
  6. Thanks for doing all that legwork. I suspected the KMF would turn out that way, for all of the good press it gets. I know in my own house, after getting my wife on board, I bought her some KMF just for the shower, and she hasn't used a soap and lather since.
  7. I understand that the word is, "Thou shalt not covet", but I adore that brush. The DK7 is may all time favorite handle, and that color is beautiful.
  8. Nice picture, Clint! Very festive!
  9. KMF is a great cream and a terrific value. I found the sake as you, that it works much better with a brush than as a brushless cream. For whatever reason, though, I do not use it very often. I really should work it in my rotation more often.

    December 21 SOTD:

    Razorock Plissoft Brush
    TSD Lanolin Barber Shoppe
    Gillette Slim
    Stirling Unscented PSB
    TSD Floid Blue Type AS

I moved to the Slim again, this time paired with a Feather. Once again, a smooth shave. These Gillette Adjustables all shave so well. They are different in feel but similar results. This razor feels lighter than the other two, but the thinner head profile is noticeable when compared to the Fatboy. The angle is natural, and I quickly find myself just shaving getting great reduction with a great feel. The TSD Floid Blue Type AS is becoming one of my favorite after shaves. The scent is terrific and it leaves my skin feeling great. I hope everyone has a great day!
  11. Thank you. The DK7 is wonderful take on the M7 handle. I long admired many of the translucent brushes pictured in the SOTD photos. So the hardest part was the color. It came down to red or blue. At some point I will get a nice blue brush as well.

Thank you Jim. The girls have been helping with the SOTD photos which as you know makes it even more fun.
  12. Great picture Jim. The Floid Blue scent is addictive.
  13. That is very true. My oldest daughter is so sweet, she always tries to pretend to be interested in my hobbies just to spend some time with me. The other day she spent about 20 minutes trying to get her picture just right, it was a highlight of my week.
  14. Some secrets of the Cartel are best kept that way.
  15. The Feather Black continues to impress. Short work week this week, so no shave Friday. So far the Feather Black is the leading candidate. However I still have Gillette 7 o'clock greens and Voskhods to go. It'll be interesting to see which blade will prevail. Next up is going to be. my NEW SC. Good day Gents! :santa

  17. I know the feeling. I have a junior in high school and a junior in college. The fact that I get anytime at all is a huge plus and a highlight.
  18. I was just talking about blue brushes. Oh My!!!! Great photo Mark.
  19. Glad you like it. Thanks Clint!
  20. Yes it's still here and in use. Sticker is long gone though.
