    To those who gather here:

May each and every one of you have a wonderful Christmas weekend!

Thank you for spending the last year being a part of the best little corner of the Internet. My day will be spent with my wife and son, and though I will probably shave later...but I may not write about it. We have our family Christmas from 4pm to midnight today, and I look forward to it.

I love you all as I would my brother.

"Glory to God in the highest,
And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!” - Luke 2:14

Thanks for reading and have a great Christmas Eve!

An afternoon shave, and off to eat a traditional meal with my parents: liver and onions, mashed potatoes and green peas. They taught me to like it before society intervened.
A wonderful lather and DFS+ courtesy of hardware, software, and techniques picked up right here!
    Merry Christmas Y'all!

I am still in the stubborn phase with this razor.

    Merry Christmas, Kerry.

Nice write up and as an actual MBA I applaud the economics of the thing, though my specialization is Marketing. So I'd have to figure out a way to sell the flipping thing. Sounds like your basic Chinese POS razor, though perhaps even worse than something like the Rimei or Long Feng. It is also possible the lack of effectiveness was due to the GSB simply refusing to play nice with this thing. Russian blades do have standards you know. Even the St. Pete bunch.

Liver and onions? Count me in! Liver is something of a scarce product it seems but we have one place we can get it and have it at least once a month if not more. Good stuff!

Flipped from the Feather Focus in Gillette razors as my open comb plate for the Blackbird arrived today. Popped in an Astra for the maiden shave this afternoon. I'll put in a Feather blade tomorrow!

I love liver and onions! There was a chain of (or a few, privately owned maybe??) of truck stop buffets we used to eat at in Illinois and Missouri that had the BEST liver and onions ever. Good enough to make you forge you were eating organ meat at a truck stop, anyway. :)

The Iron Skillet had great L&O. That may be who you're thinking of. Used to go out to eat there like it was a real restaurant. It was the name of the restaurant inside Petro Truck Stops.

Could be. Darn it was good. We stayed at a hotel in Pontiac Ill. one time on a job and ate there every night for a month. Ate way too much liver.

    Merry Christmas, Neil.

Big yellow onion, peeled and sliced thin, then caramelized in margarine. Beef liver, thawed from Walmarts freezer, no coating - fried in the pan the onion was cooked in. Instant mashed potatoes because it's easy. LeSeuer small early green peas in the silver wrapped can, warmed with added margarine and served over the taters.
Three out of four of my kids also like it. The other one knew where peanut butter and jelly sandwiches came from.

I have a Kala tenor ukulele, mainly because the only thing more ridiculous than a fat man playing a ukulele, is a fat man playing a piccolo.
