Razor: Gillette Aristocrat 1947 (Birth year razor) Blade: Feather Platinum (4) Brush: WDC-5 Boar (Whipped Dog) Soap: Route 66 Casablanca Aftershave: Fine American Blend Fair shave this evening. I don't care for this knot, so I'll replace it tomorrow. I was saved by a very good shave soap and a great razor.

Okay, no accounting for taste, but that movie is freaking comedy gold. Sort of the "Airplane" for Exxer/Millenials.
i've never done a 30 day focus, but i'll give it a shot as i've been using a new boar brush everyday for the past week or so just to get it broken in
It looks great, the old bog oak is beautiful but both the handle and knot are too small for me. The biggest issue for me is too much backbone.
Day 2 with the Rudy Vey - Shavemac D01 brush. Yesterday was a hard soap, exactly what the brush excels at so today is a croap, Route 66 Cavendish. Joining in the pain stick fun and a homage to @Bama Samurai the shavette Sensei I loaded my Slim AI Focus with a cartel approved Perma-Sharp blade. The brush made quick work of the Route 66 and face lathered since the brush was built for face lathering and had lather going everywhere. That is one the problems with this brush is it's small size and tendency to get lather on the handle. That is OK for DE shaving but not for straight razor shaving. Today was the best shave ever with a 1/2 DE blade shavette, I must have been channeling Chris. 4 passes zero irritation and BBS. Irritation A+ Closeness A
Welcome, Bryon! Are you doing a hard and fast rule, or a focus where you can change things up? I'm actually kind of curious to see your soap rotation.
i'm planning on sticking with the brush, but changing up soaps and razors and stuff! I use a lot of different soaps and stuff!
