January Shavette Focus Super Secret Cream & Vulfix 2235 Weck Sexo & Personna blade The Bunny V3.1 & Chick blade Alum, Pinaud Clubman AS Beta Testing this shave cream. I haven't signed an N.D.A. but I'll keep the ingredients list close to my vest until told otherwise. As per instructions grading 1 to 10 on; latherability 9 - I like the thirstiness, allows adding water to tune. lather stability 9 - No dissipation during a slow deliberate shave. slickness 9 - Juiced up for shavette, allows overlapping passes. cushion - A category I find confusing, need clarification. skincare 10 - Among the best post shave face feel experienced. Conditions of lather preparation; Moistened badger brush & ceramic textured wide low suribachi bowl. Small quantity of cream; approximately 1/2 teaspoon. Agitated for 30-45 seconds, applied to face. Seemed a bit thick, so dripping warm faucet water added to brush and face lathered to acceptable hydration. The sample provided is limited, so I "recycled" the lather by gathering it from the shavette onto the brush during WTG & ATG passes. Switched to B-V3.1 injector for XTG, additional ATG, and Bunny Slides. No additional cream was needed, using a badger brush that may be a "Lather Hog", the recovery and reuse of shavette lather may have been unnecessary. The final category of skincare may have been compromised by my first use of a new-to-me aftershave. Close as I get to a BBS, this was a Good Shave.
I will have to defer to one of the honing experts. In then end at the edge of both the thickness should be similar but like a SE blade thickness makes the blade more rigid.

I tried the Made-Rite (yes, I spelled it *rite* this time) brush last night, the end of my first week. Not as floppy as the Mohawk, but half again fuller than the ER. Took extra care on my throat and it came out clean, but still had some collateral damage on my chin. Going ATG under the corner of my moostache caused a few spots, but closed them with a cold wash. The blade was on its second shave, if that matters.
Just for full disclosure: I married a fully showered and completely gorgeous Hippy Chick twenty five years ago.... A little patchouli can be pretty hot.

January 8 SOTD: Omega Boar Brush Stirling Electric Sheep Gem Damaskeene Irisch Moos AS I had a no shave day yesterday, as we had a birthday party for my son, and then I replaced some pendant lights for my wife. I broke out the Damaskeene again today and paired it with the Stirling Electric Sheep. It was a tough challenge for the sheep soap, as it is the coldest day of the year, so it is dry. My skin feels pretty soft, though. I topped it with some Irisch Moos AS, which was a last minute purchase to end 2016. It is a terrific scent. I hope everyone has a great day!
