it's been a long time I didn't use my Dalli-Werke stick. I should definitely use it more, because it smells wonderful, lathers like a bomb, and feels super. If I'm not wrong, the company which made it, is the producer of the Tabac shaving line

  [*]Result: BBS shave with just one little weeper on right side of mouth. The GEM Contour was a gift and I did not expect much of a shave with it, but the combo of this razor and a new GEM Super Stainless blade did the trick. The TOBS Almond was a nice lathering cream. Scent is a bit strong and I think if having to make a choice I would go with the TSD Almond. Comfortable shave to boot.

New experiment with my lather. Instead of trying to get a thick beard of lather I want to start going for just enough. I've seen a few pictures of live shaves and read a few posts that have left me thinking that the Santa look, while cool looking, isn't necessary.

I realized on this shave why more than two passes are needed with a sharp blade. I tried WTG/ATG instead of WTG/XTG/ATG like I did on the first shave with the feather and got a few weepers. Two passes works for a Derby, but not the feather.
