This morning I used the TFS Barba Gialla soap once again. Finished my shave with L.T. Piver "A La Reine Des Fleurs", which is a citrusy cologne originating from the 18th century.

Does Canoe count? My nose ain't what it used to be. I know it was citrusy back in the day. Used it Sunday for the start of my Focus shave. And yes, I'm late again.
Gem G-Bar Razor Personna Gem Blade Frank Shaving Boar brush My Orange Menthol Soap Dickinson's Witch Hazel Pinaud Clubman After Shave Even though I like using my other Gem razors (1912, Pushbutton, Featherweight, Micromatic OC), the G-Bar is my favorite. For me, it's weight and balance are perfect and I always expect great shaves from it. And today was no exception as it delivered a very smooth and comfortable three pass BBS shave.
Since I just received a few new Stirling soaps and the temperature here is suppose to get up to freezing today - I just may break with my routine of not shaving on Sunday and go with Stirling Orange Chill, which has menthol. I was going to wait for warmer weather before trying it, but freezing is warm enough.
Ok - I did it. A great scent but I was not prepared for the amount of menthol. It truly is an Orange Chill. Like all Stirling soaps it lathered great and is very slick. Used a Muhle R89 with a Voskhod blade and a Vie Long Horse Hair brush. Finished with a splash of Fine L'Orange Noir. First time for this after shave - very nice also - especially paired with a citrus soap.

I made it a Citrus Saturday this week and used TFS Sotto La Mole soap, which is a lemon bomb like no other.
