Ouch! Stay warm my friend!

 

It's just old fashioned winter playing weather. Gonna go snowshoeing again today.

 

Well, there's playing and then again there's playing. My idea of winter playing is pool time in SW Florida.

 

Lots of rain this week in L.A.
I love rain.

 

Someday, my friend. In the meantime I have to keep in decent enough shape to live that long...

Very odd weather for January in Massachusetts...it's WARM. Yesterday I had a short-sleeve shirt on, and today, the same. But back to normal tomorrow.

 

I do too, when there's no thunder and lightning included.

 

That's what it looked like outside, all day today.

 

I know! I have a good friend that lives in Cloquet, MN.

 

Right now here in Central NJ it's 54. According to the weather thingie on my phone it's gonna be sunny but going down to 49. Say what? Ah well, it could be worse, I could be living in @PickledNorthern 's neck of the woods!

 

-34 when I got up with Mrs. Pickled to help her get off to work. At least the wind quit. I really don't care what the mercury says, it's the wind that sucks. A calm -30, especially when it is dark out, is kind of cool. I can't explain it if you haven't seen it. A windy 5 above can be the worst thing ever.

 

Stay warm Jared. And truer words have not been spoken when it comes to wind.

I agree. A cold, dry winter is beautiful.

 

I would think wind would "blow", not "suck".(ducks)

 

After the frigid air moved out its been unseasonably warm. This has resulted us now having a couple inches of snow topped by an inch of ice and a dusting of snow on top of the ice. Yeah, everything is slicker than...

 

Same here (19 deg) on the water in Port Townsend, Washington. I have to be outside later this morning for a hour or so - suppose to get into the high 20s by the afternoon. Not a great temperature for doing precision work.
