Thanks, Clint. This week has never been quite as productive as hoped. I am hear at the request of corporate to provide some help to another site, so you can imagine that there is a little friction at times. But next week is coming, and we are getting better, so it should go well.

If we're talking guitarist, then I will add my current favorite to the discussion: Mark Knopfler.

I never really thought about it, but I probably do tend to be in the mood in cooler weather. It is an exceptionally conditioning AS.

Razor: Gillette Black Beauty R-2 1971
Blade: Personna 74* Tungsten Plus (5)
Brush: Nylon 3-D printer brush and bowl (by Tom White)
Soap: Route 66 Bay Lime Twist
    Aftershave: Clubman Pinaud Lime

Excellent 3 pass shave today. The Bay Lime Twist is a synergy of pure East Indian Bay brightened with a generous twist of lime, mingled with ginger and supporting notes of lemon, lily, and grapefruit. It has a long lasting, slick lather, protective cushion and glide, with a soothing post shave conditioning.

    Down by the river side.

I pulled the knot and installed a 22 mm Faux Horse Extra Dense Synthetic from AP Shave Co. It's in the curing rack. :)

Congrats on the great shave with the Feather AC! I get the same results with mine when I take my time.

Great picture, again, Doug. Is that a table your gear is on?

@Herm2502 Was it you that mentioned you would mute the corners on DE blades when you put them in a shavette?

    SharptoothC I bite..........

I saw that and was about jealous. I plan to post mine soon as well. I still don't like that hump on the blade holder. It is a deal breaker for me. I just had to conquer it before moving it along. I don't see myself stressing it that often when there are other shavettes I enjoy.

Day 4 and wrap up with the Kent BK8:

I was inspired with all the talk yesterday about the Barbasol Floating Head so I told mine out and loaded it with a Super Iridium. For the BK8's final day I decided to with it's strength and picked the L'Occitane Cade cream.

This is an aggressive razor and it feels more like the Ikon Tech than a Mühle R41. I think the Ikon is a little bit more aggressive but the feel is the same and they shave similarly. I made on hard landing on my upper lip that drew blood and one weeper under the chin, that is all that stood between a good shave and an epic shave. Long lasting BBS with no irritation save the two bloody spots. Fortunately they stopped bleeding easily with the alum.

I like the BK8 allot, it is like a big soft pillow. I am not a fan of overstuffed knots that are set with a minimal of loft. If I want 'backbone with soft tips' I will just go with a boar. This brush is great in the scuttle as it splays and soaks up all the warmth and does it's best work with creams.
