What do you fine folks go to during the colder months? I just came across Perfums De Marly "Herod" Excellent longevity and sillage. Very spicy on top with lovely syrupy tobacco and a vanilla Base. Well blended and quality craft. This is the EdP so it is highly concentrated. I'm getting 12 hours of life on this skin I've taken quite a long hiatus from wet shaving acquisitions for the last 4 months outside of some essentials, but between this and the Brad Sears/ Lee Sabini joint endeavor, I have spent my budget for next year already Best Brenden Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
My feature winter scent has been Clubman, and I'll add a Stirling this winter. Also, my Rise Cooling Balm works well in the cold months. That's the way it looks for now. Mind subject to change(that is, to add to the list). I have others I used last winter and will continue to use this winter. I'll compile an overall list later in the year. But expect me to bring out my Rte 66, WSP Cavendish, TSD Russian Leather. I know..rambling here...I'll get it together!!
I'm most definitely an aftershave guy but I do have a few colognes and EDTs. I'm open to use anything any time but generally in spring and summer I tend to gravitate to fruity and floral. Fall and winter I'm more likely to go for whiskey, wood, leather, and tobacco. Taking a quick peek in the cabinet I'm thinking once the flannel comes out I'll be reaching for things like Old Spice Burley, DR Harris Windsor, Clubman Special Reserve, and TSD Bourbon Vanilla, just to name a few.
Im not surevif you are talking soaps, aftershaves, or colognes...but here goes: Soaps: several from Stirling (barbershop, ben franklin, ozark mountain, coniferous, Texas on fire), barrister &mann dickens, Mitchell's wool fat, tabac, klar, caties bubbles florentine fern, martin de candre. Aftershaves: same Stirling martching aftershaves to Stirling soaps above, several pinaud (clubman, reserve, bay rum, lilac vegetol...really, these are all year round scents), musgo real, fine platinum, dr jons classic, old spice. Colognes: fahrenheit, bvlgari aqva, versace eros, gucci envy.

I know many like to "season" their scents. I don't. I just use whatever comes up next in the rotation.
Winter is my favorite because I can bring out the big leather and also some of the heavier out scents: Dior Leather Oud Montale Black Oud Dior Cuir Cannage Chanel Cuir d' Russie Knize Ten Amouage Memior Man SMN Peau D' Espagne Tom Ford Noir de Noir Frederic Malle Portrait of a Lady Serge Lutens Musk Koubla Khan YSL Kourous HM Hard Leather For fall when the weather is in-between: Chanel Antaeus Guerlain Derby Houbigant Fougère Royal
I wanted to feel that way about Clubman(as a year-round scent), but I tried it once during the summer and ended up sweating profusely. To me, it doesn''t wotk well with hunmidity. But I'm good and ready to use it as it gets colder.
Captain's choice Bay Rum. My only Bay Rum, and the strong clove scent takes me to a winter setting. I would like to get some woodsy/piney/juniper scent but have to get through some my soap inventory first. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Scents are really not seasonal to me. I pick the one I want with help from Eenie, Meenie Miney & Moe.
Living in California I don't even know what a fall or winter scent is, I use whatever smells good at that moment.
