Thank you Paul. The Zenith is a very nice brush. I like the fact that it was pretty much broken in from the first use unlike other boars that require breaking in.
SOTD January 20, 2017 Blade: Chinese Schick Razor: Schick L1 injector Brush: Trader Joe's synthetic Lather: Route 66 Twisted Tweed Post: Witch hazel splash enhanced with Fine American Blend, Nivea sensitive balm WTG, XTG, XTG (upper face) Nice shave this morning with Twisted Tweed. I am out of town and had more time than normal. Two full passes with an extra XTG pass for my upper face. Smooth, smooth is the word. I don't go for three passes like that very often. Fine American Blend and Nivea is a great way to finish it off. Have a great day!
Razor: Gillette Black Beauty R-2 1971 Blade: Personna 74* Tungsten Plus (6) Brush: Vie Long Cachurro Horse Hair Soap: Route 66 Barbershop Hop Aftershave: Old Spice Fresh Lime Very good 3 pass shave tonight. I don't use a horse brush much. It was a gift from my wife a few years ago so it is always a good move to pull it out and use it. Have a good evening and a great weekend. The new Fendrihan towel is outstanding.
How is that balm? Love the soap scent and have the balm on my wish list. Since I'm in NB17, I'll have to hope for a Valentine's gift
Its very nice, but i like an alcohol based wash, after a cold water rinse, and before a lotiony balm. Pity the clubman doesnt smell as nice as sweeny(to me). I could miss that middle step, but i like it. Drop subbtle (not so) hints, is very nice stuff. Love the way sweeny smells.
