Thank you Andrew. I plan on sticking with the brush and soap a week thing for at least the next several months. I thought I would try to do a write up at the start of each week an item is used the first time.
Congrats, Clint, on the two-pass BBS shave. I also love the Route 66 Lumberjack scent and performance.
Thanks Charlie. The Timeless OC is like a supercharged New LC in terms of efficiency. It is one of 2 DE razors I have that will equal the shave of my SE razors. Oh the Bay Lime Twist is right there too. I am saving it for warmer weather.

A Journey Down Route 66 22-23 January 2017 More of the R66 Awesomeness! Two passes to bliss with cool Alum and the powdery goodness of Skin Bracer. Raining like crazy! Other than that...all is quiet in Alabama. Have a great afternoon! ☺
Thanks, guys! My sister made this bowl. She's a ceramic artist. My mother picked it out from her collection and gave it to me at Christmas. I thought it would be the perfect sample bowl for Route 66 month.
The bowl looks fantastic and the fact that it is made by your sister and a gift from your Mom makes it truly special.

-Kai Captain -Vie Long White -Pre de Provence 63 -Kramperts Frostbite An absolutely nothing to report shave today. Just smooth enough, slick enough lather, the brush loaded just enough soap, no blood. Just good enough, all the way around.
Day 3 with Rooney Heritage hair brush: Today is the hot scuttle challenge with QCS Fougère. This brush does not splay allot so I never used it in the hot scuttle before, usually I pick a brush that splays so I can keep the brush and lather hot. About 18 hours from last shave so I used my Rocnel adjustable that had a cartel approved Rapira Swedish Steel blade loaded. The brush did better than expected and splayed enough to keep the lather hot to warm. Since I did not have a full 24 hours I did not go all out aggressive this shave. Standard 4 passes and just a tickle from the alum, a nick under my nose from rushing and BBS. Now of to work Irritation A Closeness A No pic Monday
