At my age I have this down to a fine art. Now I can't drink like I used to, thank the Lord, so I can fire back a half a dozen Buds in a few hours, get a good buzz, and be ready to go a few hours after that. As long as everyone is happy, mission accomplished!

I do too. Mine WDC-6 has the Sunrise Synthetic knot. It has been a while since I used the brush so I am looking forward to it.
Whipped Dog 30mm silver tip next round: Pulled out the Castle Forbes and stropped my Koraat and prepared for thank god tomorrow starts the Lunar New Year holiday. For some reason unknown to me the CF was not as awesome as usually just merely very good. The Koraat did not disappoint with a smooth edge but getting close to time to refresh the edge. Four passes and just a tiny weeper but no feedback from the alum. A solid BBS and looking forward to the long holiday. Wishing all of my TSN brothers an abundance of good luck in the year of the rooster. Irritation A+ Closeness A Smoothness A Sharpness A
I have been super slack about shaving these last few days. This is partly due to this past week being crazy busy, and partly because, due to busyness, shaves have been quick and largely uneventful. The bright side of this is that due to this focus month I can now shave quickly and uneventfully with a shavette. I picked up a Classic Samurai shavette super cheap online last week, and have been pleasantly surprised with the quality, although I wish the business end of it were a bit longer. I can see where it would be awkward for someone with large hands. It has delivered good shaves and will stay in the rotation. I received a nice PIF in the mail today thanks to the exceeding generosity of @Keithmax. After reading about my struggles with the Feather SS, he very kindly sent me a CJB all the way from South Korea to compare. Let me say, mail from South Korea was surprisingly fast. So the CJB got the honorary shave of the night. Coupled with the Barrister and Mann Bay Rum that Charlie so kindly PIF'd me, today was a very benevolent shave, and one I am very thankful for. Razor: CJB Kamisori Blade: Feather Pro Soap: Barrister & Mann Bay Rum Aftercare: A home brew aftershave with witch hazel, vitamin E, The Veg, Pinaud Family Dollar Old Spice copy of and remnants of various other aftershaves I keep adding to it. The CJB lacks the looks of the Feather, but functionally I think it is superior. It is slightly shorter than the Feather, but the grip is solid and the clip is thankfully missing that hump around the blade that was giving me such grief. It allows for a much better blade angle. The B&M Bay Rum is a great soap. I find myself enjoying the scent. I know it has its lovers and haters, but I tend to enjoy those scents. Together they made for a very satisfying shave. I think my shavette usage will continue to be a large part of my rotation. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
