Thank you, sir! I firmly believe he makes the best brushes out there, and his customer service is second to none. Everyone who likes synthetics should own one of his.
He does offer several knots of varying styles and types. He also has multiple synthetics, but I do think the black tuxedo knot is the best synthetic on the market. I own 2 of them.
I would like to see some more wolf whiskers brushes on here. I bet there are tons of members that have them.
What you see is pretty much what there is. It's not the easiest thing to get on his wait list, now that he restricts it to twenty people at a time.
I made it onto the waitlist! Excited to place an order in a couple months. For now, I'm browsing all the photos I can find to try and come up with the perfect combination for me. Does Peter have a listing somewhere of all the different color combinations that he does? I don't think he has one on his website.
If you click the menu button on the top left of his site there is an option for "my gallery" this will bring up a scrolling list of his color combinations and styles. Also you can ask for custom work. I had the lower handle done in one color and the upper part in another.
I've seen all the gallery shots, and the FB page and various threads with photos. Some of the handles are one time only experiments, limited production runs, etc. I guess I will wait my turn, then get with Peter.
I recommend browsing through Peter's gallery pics and deciding on as many things as possible beforehand. He can always guide you later on, but you really need to have at least a basic idea of what you are looking for. He really has so many options for each aspect that it can become VERY difficult to choose. The last thing you want to do is to not be prepared and order something last second that you end up not liking as much.
You convinced me Dandy! I must say I love my Wolf Whiskers Brush - Blue Train Custom 12 Dimple Bishop with 24mm TGN Silvertip Grade A Badger. I've had it for just a little over a month and it has been one of the best purchases I ever made. I cleaned it with my other 2 brushes using the PAA brush cleaner soap a day ago just before I took these this morning. It didn't need it, but I figured I would do all of then at the same time. Happy shaving and enjoy. Steve
