It is truly a Best Buy, if they charged $200 it would be wildly popular. Even the bottle is nicer than my big $$$ frags.
While I greatly appreciate brother Drygulch's generous offer, you won't see me standing next to a SR anytime soon. Mrs. RetLEO-07 did not raise any foolish children.
Thank you, Adam! Wasn't there a motion passed a while back to vote Adam into the 30DC Recording Secretary position a while back?
I have seen that exact same look when I have mentioned going fishing. Fishing has nothing to do with an AD, so maybe both of our wives suffer from some sort of ailment.
Depending on how much you want to spend, I would look at TGN on the lower end of the price scale, or Envy Shave if you want to move into that $50-60 range. You can get a great knot from either, although my preference in the lower end definitely runs to Finest, because I have never found a cheaper silvertip with the backbone that I prefer. I have a few of the TGN 2 Band Finest, and they are inexpensive, but very nice knots.
So what duties are part of being Secratary of the thread? Would that include ordering the Vodka/ Sake?
Just make sure it doesn't involve you supplying any of the vodka/sake. Ordering is one thing. Paying for it is another.
Excellent recommendations from both Jared and Adam. Either TGN or Envy would be excellent knots. One word of caution, if the opening at the top of the handle is 22mm, I would order a 20mm knot. When ordering the size is the diameter of the plug. Most sizes require an opening 1.5 to 2 mm larger than the plug size.
Thanks, but when I was in the 30-day thread before, I wasn't seriously focusimg on strategies. This time, I will be.
Good heads up. Also, I have read that the Envy knots run large. I haven't set one myself, but have bought them, and they do seem to run really big for their listed size.
And insuring that I make it to the sales floor on time after drinking the vodka/sake. Also keeping tabs on Ivan's location.
Though today is a no shave day for me, I'm still doing shave related things this morning. Pulled maintenance on my NEW. Gave it a bath in Palmolive dish detergent w/oxy followed by a toothpaste scrubbing. The Voskhod blade moved off the field and the Gillette Silver Blue has assumed the watch. That is all.
