Thanks for the kind word! Glad to hear it works for you. It's one of those "stop trying so hard and just do it" moments I had that helped me get more comfortable shaves, especially with an open blade. What I can feel is far more important than what I can see.
That Artique will freeze your cheeks off as a finisher. Have you ever tried the soap? I never have, but always wanted too.
January 2017 30 Day Rule/Focus Pix & Discussion This month I focused on using Route 66 soaps, Vintage Gillette razors, and on using brushes that I don't often use. The results have been eye opening. I have in the works replacing the knots in four brushes. I have enjoyed using my Vintage Gillette's, which I usually do. I can honestly say that every Route 66 soap has performed outstanding. Thanks to all who have participated. I will think about my focus for next month and post it on my first shave for February. This picture will be my shave later today. I haven't tried it either. The AS cold seems to sneak up on me a bit. I have a Stirling Glacial AS and of course some of the Rubby Dubby, and both of these seem to smack you with the cold. This one goes on smooth and easy, but a few minutes later, my eyes are watering and my face is freezing. It is the coldest AS I have. I love it.
Psst... Where do you find these photos... for ahh, research purposes. Yeah, that's the ticket. Tapatalk Via Kyocera
Doug I have truly enjoyed viewing your winter photos this month. You have a wonderful collection of vintage razors. Your assessment of Route 66 soaps is spot on. Every soap I've tried just flat worked. Thank you for bringing Route 66 to my attention. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
