36 degrees and misty, crappy rain today in the Great Garden State. Luckily there's plenty of hot coffee in the Shipping break room.
Supposed to be clear and sunny today and for the next few days. Low to mid 30s. May have to take advantage of no rain and head to the rifle range.
38 and cloudy. Alledgedly this round yellow colored thingie is going to be out this morning. I don't believe it, but hey, ya never know.
Getting back to seasonally moderate. I love a thaw as much as the next guy, but spring mud season in January is depressing when you know you have three more months to go, and then have actual thaw. This is perfect.
40 and cloudy. But, seeing as this is January, I'll take it. It could be worse. As a matter of fact it could get worse. We've still got February to get thru. That is all.
32 and cloudy when I took the puppy for his walk this morning. He's up for a haircut today. Post a pic later.
27 and cloudy. And they're talking' about that four letter word for around noontime. Bleech! Afternoon update: Snow flurries and 36 Phoooey!! Still having snYo! flurries(oops, wrong thread).
Just got home from a club meeting. Cold tonight and a crystal clear sky. The Moon and Venus really stand out in the southwest sky. Nice thing about living in a rather remote rural area - the night sky is unbelievable and always amazing to see. Feel sorry for city slickers.
I'm a bit lower in elevation - 80 feet. I'm right on the waters of the Straits of Juan de Fuca and the Puget Sound. But I live in what is called by the pilots as the "blue hole". The Olympic Mountains, which are right next to me - form a barrier to the storm systems coming in off the Pacific Ocean. It will be clear skies here but 40 miles to the east, over Seattle it will be cloudy.
