Is it just the safety bar that's bent? If so that's an easy fix with a butter knife.

Welcome to February, gentlemen!

 

At this rate it's going to be a short month but a looong thread.

 

I'll try and take pictures of my kit and the lather tomorrow. So today was day one, and I think it went ok. I think I need to add some more water next time, as it was vanishing off my face (not enough water right, or do I have it backwards and it is too much water when it evaporates off?).

Thanks, I'll give it a try tomorrow. I feel like I was, but maybe need to use a bit more. The lather looked good on the soap, in the bowel, and on the brush but not so good on my face. Looked thin. But it did the job, though I did have to reapply a few times in some spots because it was evaporating off. The scuttle I was using was nice though, definitely kept the lather warm. So I'm a proponent of that.

And to everyone else I might have missed, thanks for the welcomes and advice. I do like the Astras in this razor. We will see how they do when I switch up razors.

You know, I hadn't really had an epiphany for MAYhem this year but....you may have just set something in motion. Hmmmmm..........

 

Somehow in this group using a Superspeed on day one of a Futur focus is absolutely the right thing to do. We breathe a very rare air here sometimes. And we like it.

Basically yes. The SOTD thread is basically pictures of the daily gear. Same thing goes on here, but due to our format a lot of comments are made that wouldn't over on SOTD. And, with our emphasis on learning and technique it brings both worlds together very nicely. I usually post on both just to share with everyone, and I also go over there and absolutely turn green with envy at some of the gear. Although the selection here has grown to be equally impressive!

 

Exemption granted. Besides, I interpret a No Buy as not buying any new gear/soaps etc. Maintaining existing gear doesn't count in my universe. And a replating is maintenance. Now, if you go Delta Echo on it, you may have crossed the line.

MAYhem can be anything unpredictable or without any order, but to be hardcore MAYhem a risk of some injury is usually involved. Not recommended but involved.
