They just poured the concrete for our expansion yesterday, so here in a couple of months when our expansion is done we'll start working on adding scents.

What is the groups experience on how long the aftershave splash bottles and/or aftershave balms last typically?
Alot of factors I realize but your experience would be appreciated.

I have only ever used balms in the past and have not every tried Stirlings but am interested in the aftershaves if the longevity of the scent is increased via aftershave splash vs balm.

I'd likely be looking into Executive Man and Stirling Gentleman.....possibly 1 or 2 others.

It would seem that they last forever. Admittedly I have quite a few bottles, but I have yet to finish one, and I probably use them 250+ days a year for the last few years.

I have a bottle of Gin and Tonic that's a couple of years old that is down to it's last few shaves. My Sandalwood is well into the last quarter of the bottle, and Ben Franklin is looking pretty sick. Lots of half full or betters though...

I use the balms nearly every day in the winter, at least on my neck. Out of the four bottles that I have, I am just killing off one bottle of unscented; the other three are around half.

TLDR: They aren't products that seem to disappear very fast.

I had those 2 as samples.....I REALLY like the fragrance in Sandpiper, though...may be my winner.

Really enjoyed the new Baker Street aftershave this morning. Great match to the Strop Shoppe soap I have. I think the soap has lost some of the juniper that is supposed to be prevalent. The aftershave has it but the juniper wears off and down into the other scents quickly. It's so moisturizing and feels silky when you apply it. Good stuff.

I ordered the aftershave with menthol and it's quite nice. The menthol is just right and the cooling lasts a good long time. Any more aftershave purchases from Stirling from me will include the menthol. Of course, Rod is the menthol king with the glacials and other offerings. He knows the cold!

I use the balms and splash after every shave. I was concerned about longevity of the products prior to use. I have been pleasantly surprised.

Over the summer I went through a full puck of South Padre and Island Man. Each of the bottles of splash are about 20% gone. That makes a 5:1 ratio of soap to splash.

The balms are in solid colored tunes so they can't be measured but Im sure I use less balm than splash.

Both are, in my opinion, excellent values.

Did I ever enjoy my shave with the MITA soap this morning. The menthol took hold right away, (ok, not like Glacial menthol!) and the lather exploded off my brush. I love the citrusy scent and the way my skin feels after I finish shaving with it. This morning's shave was my 2nd coldest one after the Glacial Spearmint one I had this past Monday!

My A.S. feature this week will be my Stirling Sandpiper sampler-probably the one I will eventually get as a full-size.

    @ezlovan

Are you still planning on making a "gin and tonic on the rocks"?

I am planning on rocking that one this spring/summer

Yes, it will be a single batch type thing this year. If it is received well, then we may do it in a larger quantity next year. It's going to be similar to the way we did the Eskimo Tuxedo. We only did full jars of it last year as I wasn't sure if it would sell, but it did so we are doing to do it in puck and sample form this year as well.
