Todays shave was with one of my oldest razors, but also my finest shaving razor , to date. It was a super smooth two pass shave, with very smooth results. No nicks, cuts, or weepers. Razor- Wade & Butcher(1830-1837) Brush- B-400 By Tom, with a Whipped Dog Boar knot. Excellent combo.
This was the straight most of my early shaves were on. It delivered again today. A very thin grind made for a noisier shave than I've gotten used to. I still like this one. I used my Wade and Butcher "Peerless" today. It was a two pass shave and I'm BBS! This razor has a nice weight and balance and provides a nice amount of audible feedback.
Oops! Did I really call this my Wade and Butcher? I was multitasking when I posted. It's my Wostenholm! Sorry about that.
Thanks. It's a wonderful kit. Very well made. https://bosca.com/10-inch-zipper-utilikit-old-leather.html
Tonight's shave was with a great shaving razor, that I obtained a few months ago. I thought It was a fake J.A.Henckels, it's not. Wonderful two pass shave, with only a minor touchup on the chin. Zero issues and smooth results. Razor- Zwillingswerk(J.A.Henkels)
