What Straight Razor Did You Use Today?

I got this little guy from @DaltonGang a few weeks back. This was my first shave with it. It is a nice smooth shave. Although it decided to bite my left cheek on the last pass. I cut it with the tip. Only 5/8 length but nice and deep. I will be bleeding for hours now. Blood thinners suck eggs

My refurbished strop works really nice. Not much draw on it right now.

I used my Wade and Butcher "elite" today and got an okay shave after three passes. Yeah, well I have never honed this razor to my liking. The last time on the stones it was cutting arm hair and would treetop some too. That doesn't translate into a great shave, so I think I'll go back to the 1k and start over. Maybe I'll use 2 layers of tape due to the hone wear.

Very nice razor. So how long did it take you to "build" it and decide on the options? BTW I love the color of the scales

Thank you. I thought about this one for a month before I decided to buy it then spent about an hour checking the different options. I wanted something different from the razors already in my den.

With all the W&Bs being broken out recently mine was calling to me. Like before, an excellent all around shave. Not the tops in any given category but more than solid across the board. Great finish leaving me with that face rubbing goodness.

Tonight's shave was with a nice, scary sharp, Pipe Razor, that I polished up, and honed, several weeks ago. The scales need repining, or replacing. Excellent two pass shave with smooth results.

Today's razor is a Vorpal it started life as a Gold Dollar.
