    Hello, all! I don't check in here too often now and days, but I do think of you guys often and hope everyone is doing well.

    It's a lovely day, weather-wise anyhow. I do have to go get a shot in my left eye this afternoon, though. I do appreciate my wonderful ophthalmologist. She is a true blessing.

    After a hot shower and fantastic shave my wife did it again.
    She ran over my grandsons little plastic army man with the vacuum cleaner, you remember the ones we played with as kids.
    "Honey" I knew it. I could hear the vacuum revving up.
    It's the belt. It's always the belt, I bought 10 replacement belts not long ago.
    Clean, freshly shaved and smelling great I took the vacuum cleaner apart, I removed the army man that was stuck in the vacuum and replaced the belt.
    The life of a wet shaver never ends.
    Happy wife, clean carpets. :)

    So, it's supposed to be one of the worst winter storms in many a moon. Does my company close? No. The piers are closed and most if not all shippers are shut down. But we're open. So I got in my pick'mup truck drove to work and here I sit watchin' it snow. It's gonna suck goin' home. Only consolation is, Corned Beef Ruebens for lunch in the Caf.

    perhaps it came from being raised by parents who were teachers of proper English usage(different fields, but teachers just the same)
