It was just on a street in the neighbourhood, I'd like to think we'd all have done the same thing. Another lady stopped to help as well.

You could press/grate it into a more suitable bowl if that helps lather. I HATE trying to lather from a "ketchup cup".

You are a good man. And a northerner. Some of us bear it like a cross. Some of us get older and older and older, and wonder why the Hell we don't live somewhere else.

They used straights of course. Both Jedi and Sith use the Force to make honing easy and simple. The best hones were A-Nats. Unfortunately, quality hones from Alderon are harder to find now.

If the soap is soft enough just scoop it out of the sample pack with a spoon. Then press it into a bigger bowl or mug. If the soap is hard then you can grate it with a hand cheese grater before pressing it into bowl or mug.

ok, thanks Clint. Might give that a go. It'll be a while before I get to it in my rotation. Man, that is some tobacco scent all right! Some reviewers of Stirling Gentleman say SG is the best tobacco scent, but perhaps they say that because of how it blends in with other scents. If you want tobacco, PERIOD, already I vote for Crowne and Crane(and I haven't used it yet!).

Jedi and Sith do use different colored scales.

Awesome you found one that really jumps for you. I might have to check it out.

Gentleman for me, has a very light tobacco scent. It is a favorite for sure, but I don't think cause of strong tobacco.

actually, that was a bit premature, as I haven't tried TABAC itself.

If you are looking for a cured tobacco leaf scent, Tabac isn't it. Tabac is a powdery floral scent, with a little bit of spice.

thanks for the tip. I'll either get this one(C&C)in full-size, or go to WSP for theirs. Lee focuses on manly scents for his stuff(I know I've said that before, but I'll repeat it for anyone who hasn't seen my previous posts about WSP).

Great photo as usual Doug. How did the Timeless work with the aluminum handle?

I was surprised that it worked as well as it did. I find some of the heavier handles tough to work with this razor. The Hempel Ti are magnificent with the Timeless. 95 OC. IMHO.
