Ah, there it is I didn't know it was under "Essential/Fragrance Oils". (I looked under Fragrance only).

Is there a Stirling soap that would fall under a sweet pipe tobacco category fragrance wise?

Not really. Gentleman has a tobacco note, and vanilla, but nothing like a pipe, to me.

I tried a sample of Gentleman. Liked it, but not the tobacco note I am looking for. I would like to see something like pipe tobacco and cognac. Or maybe pipe tobacco and pound cake. A guy can dream.

Henri et Victoria's Cognac and Cubans is phenominal. Not a sweet pipe by any means, but it has a humidor smell to it. Maybe worth trying a sample.

Brand new here and this thread was the reason I joined. I had the awesome experience of using Stirling's "Unscented with Beeswax" and it was amazing. I'm someone who suffers from allergies to many fragrance oils and essential oils. I tend to break out in slight swelling and welts. Not good, lol. Even lanolin causes a bad break out. I had a buddy let me try a sample of Stirling's fantastic soap and it was absolutely mind blowing. Great cushion, protection, slickness, and best of all - no break outs and my face was smooth as silk.

I have a full 5.8 oz jar coming and it should be here either tomorrow or Monday. I'll definitely be stocking up on this. :)

Welcome to The Den, and to our little thread for all things Stirling. I am glad you were able to find a product that works for you. I have not tried that version of Rod's soap, but if it is as good as his other two soap bases it must be fantastic.

Thank you so much. I love a good tallow based soap and this is a homerun for sure. I might experiment with a lighter scent or two after I see do with this.

I really hope it's popular enough for them to keep around. It's hard to find an good additive and fragrance free soap sometimes.

My tub of Stirling's Unscented with Beeswax arrived! Can't wait to try this out tonight. Contemplating where I should make this into a shave stick or leave it in the tub.

I find it is probably at the limit of being soft for a stick, but it does work great. There is no problem getting enough soap on your face. I have several of them stuffed into sticks.

** Edit - Of course you could always put half of it in a stick.

@SharptoothC and @Paul Turner, I just used Crowne & Crane Tobacco and Amber, and while it doesn't give me a "lit pipe" tobacco smell, it is the exact scent of my dad's cold pipe, which I used to love bringing him just for the smell.

That is funny, because I used to do the same thing. I used to love the smell of my dad's pipes.

Awesome! I have the exact same empty stick containers and they worked perfectly for Cella. I'm sure they'll work just as well with Stirling's soap for sure now. :)
