I'm afraid no amount of "eleven secret herbs and spices" could make those spheniscidae palatable.

 

Must have been a trick of some kind. Penguins can be like that.

 

All the more reason not to eat them. Plus, I'm not so sure that lard counts as either an herb or a spice.
