Just picked up from the library the DVD set, "Band of Brothers" which is based on the book by Stephen Ambrose. I'm enjoying it as much as the book.
Band of Brothers is amazing. I've watched the entire series at least twice. Just got finished watching Cut Bank (2014). I'll give it a 6/10, because it's a train wreck of a film, but I just couldn't stop watching because it's so WEIRD! "I'm huntin' my p-p-p-parcel." Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Before the serious business of SB LI, I was in the mood for comedy. So I watched "Duck Soup". Hail Fredonia.
Bottom feeding with some low budget horror (free on youtube) PanMan - A demon chef murders culinary students one by bloody one. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1645126/
Yes! Setting change, much like Apocalypse Now had a different setting than its original book version.
Not in the same league as those, but have you read The Running Man? Much different main character and ending than the film.
This movie traumatized me in the theater. I left the theater ashamed I thought war would be fun like in the movies. One thing that really ticked me off though was the 2 teenagers sitting behind me laughing and carrying on during the Normandy invasion sequence. I think I sat through that first 30 minutes with my mouth open and didn't blink once. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Well day 2 of laying on the couch with the flu. Yesterday I watched, The Terminal Man which was okay and The Fingers at the Window which was kind of so so. Today I watched, Coma which I thought would be more suspenseful than dramatic, Kanal which was a very good Polish WWII movie from 1957, and Brubaker which was pretty good. Not a bad day hacking up a lung and fighting body aches, chills and a fever. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Passengers (2016). I thought it was a VERY solid sci-fi flick. Strong 10/10. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
