How's your day? February 2017

Glad it went well. Hope the pain doesn't last long.

 

Having a good'un. Herself went to NYC with one of her girlfriends, so when I went out running errands, I stopped at this deli the next town over and had breakfast. Scrambled eggs, home fries and pork roll(the Jersey boys around here know what I'm talkin' 'bout). Gotta chip some ice in the driveway left over from the storm. Not a bad Saturday at all. See ya!!

 

Final weigh in this morning after 6 weeks of Isagenix.
Down a total of 17.4 lbs and 4.6% body fat. Now weighing in at 151.6 @ 14.5%

Off to Sint Maarten on Wednesday to totally blow my results and possibly speak some Dutch.

 

Enjoy your vakay my friend. It won't be a total blowout. Just don't go crazy. Went to Aruba many moons ago and was drinking Amstel that they brewed right on the island using desalinated sea water. Best beer ever. Try the local brew and report back.

Thanks, guys. I'll be sure to have fun and not totally blow it. I'm not a beer drinker, but you may have convinced me to try some. But, the local rum is very much worth trying and cheap, if you get it in the right (ie: non-touristy) place.

 

By all means, rum over beer! Sounds like you've been there before. Have a cocktail(or two) for me!

 

Yes, I've been going there (to different resorts) over the past several years. Except for my first time, tho, I've always gone to (and prefer) the Dutch side.

Cocktails it is.

 

After a great me-time Focus shave, went out, got a large coffee from WAWA along with a NY Post. Now in my den(the one without the sink) kicking back and reading the paper.

 

I'm just watching more snow come down as I drink my black coffee. Have to go out to drug store&supermarket later(as for the latter, I forgot a couple things from yesterday). Snow/schmow, I'm going out in my sneakers. Tired of my boots. Were it a BLIZZARD, well, that'd be a horse of a different kettle fish, but it isn't.

Why yes, yes they did. I'm a big fan of Plantation XO 20th Anniversary or Appleton Estates.

 

I used to drink a lot of rum but recently I've started drinking bourbon or tequila. Oh. And last year Mississippi started getting Yuengling so that's been staying in my fridge.

No Sailor Jerry tho, just the good local stuff.

 

OOF.. I haven't been able to drink tequila in YEARS... makes me sick every time.

Now... what you should try is a Fireball Manhattan. A manhattan made with Fireball (cinnamon infused) wiskey.

 

I haven't touched Sailor Jerry's in quite a while. We had to part ways after a rough 4th of July. I don't like fireball. Cinnamon whiskey is just a bit over the top.
