What Straight Razor Did You Use Today?

Today smooth shave, little blood on my chin. Guess I got overzealous, not a good trait while using a straight razor. No biggie, just a little spot.

 

It was a nice shave this morning with my Charles Adam "faultless" razor. It was a two pass shave and I'm BBS!

Tonight's shave was with a rescue razor, that looked like it was hopeless. Well, the "Ugly Duckling' is officially a "Swan". It is a recent restore, and a fresh hone today. It gave a flawless two pass shave, without need for cleanups. Smooth as silk while shaving, and smooth as silk results. Its one of my top two razors, so far. These Dubl Ducks are fantastic shavers, and can hold a mean edge.

The Dwarf is one of my favorites as well. Nice restore!

 

Thank you.. It was a scary restore, because I've never restored a razor with such a thin blade. I felt much better about everything, after the first stroke of the blade.

My Japanese Okina. Morning shave today, meetings with our CEO and one of the board members, Ready to tackle the Day.

 

It shaves great even though it's a half hollow it's still heavy which I like. Easy to manuveur with the thump notch and nice jumps and it came with a good edge both smooth and sharp. I will touch it with my Shapton 16k next weekend. When I took my the other Koraat to the Shapton it came out with s fantastic edge smooth and very sharp.

 

Yes I used the 'configurator', I want something different from other razors. I usually go for a Matt finish and wood scales but his time I wee t for shiny and modern.

Full progress at one with the black ark as a finnisher, the other just a touch upp with the ZG finnish.bouth came out very smooth and nice.
