-Gillette Old Style Head/Scotch & Stowe Handle
    Refinished By Delta Echo
    -Voskhod Blade
    -Frank Shaving Boar Brush
-Love My Skin Sailor's Spice Soap
    -Dickinson's Witch Hazel
-Pinaud Clubman Virgin Island Bay Rum AS

A very nice combination of razor and blade. Along with a thick lather from the Sailor's Spice soap, which reminds me of the original Old Spice after shave, producing an excellent three pass BBS shave.

For the February focus thread, I am using my Rocca for a whole month. It's a great razor, but I already miss my favourite Fatip (the walnut handle OC razor).

This one is is a bit of a mystery. The razor is a Canadian Bulldog but the set and the brush elude me...

Update: The case points to a French Touriste No.00 set.

Not sure what's different with the Canadian but first time out was blood free, alum burn free, just BBS goodness!

    Battle of the Bulldogs...
Same set-up but with the US version... I think I have to give it to the Canadian. Both offered the same close shave but the Canadian still seems smoother and offers more feed back!

    Gillette Bostonian (Canada) Razor
    Voskhod Blade
    Frank Shaving Badger Brush
    Arko Shave Stick
    Dickinson's Witch Hazel
    Barbasol Brisk After Shave

The Bostonian, or New Standard depending on which case it comes in, is a very fine razor, especially on faces with two or more day's worth of beard growth. I had no problem getting a smooth and comfortable BBS shave with two passes and some touch up.

Good Morning Folks! Here's a look at m OC SOTD-

1970's French market Gillette OC Tech.
    Lord Platinum Class blade.
    Omega travel brush (boar bristle).
    TOBS Traditional Luxury shave soap.
    Pinaud Clubman Special Reserve splash.
    Nivea post shave balm.
    4711 and Bulgari Extreme cologne.

This Morning's shave was fantastic! A two pass BBS. I usually have good results with this OC Tech, and today was no exception. The blade/razor combo matched perfectly, along with the lather to give me a sensational shave. Unfortunately, the soap is very old, and is hard to lather. But lather it does, you just have to constantly load the brush. Have a great day all!
