Wow! That turned out nice, Kevin. I can hardly wait to get it into my little hands. Beautiful.

The Bacon Lord gave a little love to my Greaves wedge and I got to try out the results this morning. As a good omen, the lather and brush came up perfect as I got ready for the first pass. By the end I had a super close shave with very little noise from the Alum. It seems that, for me at least, the wedge is gentler on the face but requires a little more angle to get a really close shave. Yes, face rubbing goodness all around. :happy036:

Tonight's shave was with one I hadn't heard of before, and took a chance on. It was freshly honed after some of the rust was knocked off of it. I did a two pass shave, WTG and ATG, just to test it out. It did wonderfully. The ATG went smoothly. This blade can take and hold a super sharp edge. Top notch quality material, and workmanship when they made this blade. BBs results on the face. NO nicks cuts or weepers. Just Smiles.

Tonight's shave was with a wickedly sharp razor, Made in New York. Freshly honed, and restored. It was a very smooth two pass shave, that couldn't have gone better. No issues, just smooooth results.

Another shave with the Challenge since yesterday's shave was so good. The Jeeves bay rum soap provided a super slikery lather. VIBR to finish it all. Dolphin skin smoothness :)

I have had a great week of shaves using this Geneva Cutlery Company Razor as a travel razor. It's a nice blade.

It was another BBS shave this morning with my Case Temperite wedge. It was a very comfortable and satisfying two pass shave. I paired it with the remains of my Stirling bay rum soap and my Maggards synthetic brush.

I've been wanting to shave with this razor for several shaves now and it kept taking a back seat. It's the biggest blade I have and has a very thin grind. It shaves like a dream and did again today. :happy036:

You'd love it. I'd have thought the big blade would be difficult but it isn't. It has the right heft and is a joy to use. I can't believe the grind on it given it's size. It's as thin as my Wester Bros which I just compared it to visually. :happy088:

I also prefer a round tip. It seems most of the larger blades have a square tip.

Robinson and Bros. A 5/8 lightweight blade, but ultra sharp. It continues to amaze me what a close comfortable shave these things provide.
