I got two pick second I really wanted that fat boy but that straight razor had my name all over it haha
Wowsers! I am 45, but I remember being 17, and a man that I knew as Uncle Ed... He was a giant of a man, a kind, old soul. Ed would shave with a big hunk of metal that looked like a hammer and an axe. After Ed was done shaving, more often than naught, he would grab a tall glass bottle of liquid, shake out a handful or two, and slap his hand on his cheeks and say "dangit, that burns!" Flash- Forward a few years... I found out that big chunk of metal was a Fatboy, and yes, the FB is a nice shaver, but the first version of the R41 is the end-be-all razor for me.
I called the FB on nine a "bbs machine" on the other thread last Friday, he's mostly just giving me the biz.
I have asked my butler, Jeeves, to thank everyone---especially @Queen of Blades for making all of this possible. I have also instructed him to tell you that I will gladly accept prize #20, The Stirling Brush. This was a very pleasant manner in which to begin my day! Now back to my tea and crumpets...
Seriously, this is a great cause and win or lose, we all win when TSD thrives. Have a great day everyone. I am off to judge 50 young singers in our state's Solo & Ensemble contest.
