  1. Screwtape

    Screwtape A Shaving Butterfly

Do they allow this stuff to cross borders or does it get classed in with anthrax powder and botulism paste and get quarantined as suspected bio weapons or chem warfare agents?

I find the shaving difference between the E and the G to be very minor. Where the E2 really shines for me is in the rotatable spring that allows the razor to be opened for cleaning or to fiddle with the blade.

My shaving plan may not be as structured as I'd like, for the foreseeable future. I and my sister(but mostly me)will be tackling a situation involving our mom. In concert with that, I may be sleeping at her house, and thus shuttling shave gear back and forth. I'll be back at home during the days and will presumably say "What'll it be tomorrow"?(for shaving).

Oh Charlie! We mustn't conflate cartel recognition with heroism. They may be independent issues.

I do think we should all pool our money and buy this. Make it the official TSD 30 Day Crew Car.

Day 4 and wrap up with an Omega boar.

Woke up a little late so no pic, it is Monday here and it is time to make the doughnuts. Today's soap is Valobra Patchouli and the razor is a ATT SE. I shaved late yesterday and it was a long lasting dolphin smooth shave so need for a straight razor today. The Omega did its thing and the Volobra made lots of slick lather. The ATT SE is very mild for me and I always struggle to catch the baby if a razor is too mild. Today's shave was zero irritation but short of dolphin smooth. I think this razor will go in the next den clearing.

The Omega has moved up in my esteem, despite getting a hole in the middle of the knot when wet it performs well with hard soap and creams. It has a better splay than my Omega Pro but in the end I prefer the Pro.

    Irritation A+ Closeness B

    Fatboy February!!!!!

    Playing with the new brush!

    February 19
    Razor - 1959 (E4) Gillette Fatboy (6)
    Blade - [IMG] (3)
    Soap - Mitchell's Wool Fat
    Brush - Jayaruh #46
    Post - Alum

Tonight it's time to see what the new Jayaruh #46 can do. Last night's first try with the Stirling was very nice. Tonight, we feed it to the Fat. Mitchell's Wool Fat which is still my favorite soap. It has a bit of a learning curve to get a great lather and I normally nail it with my other brushes. The soap likes to be watered first, then use a brush shaken to almost dry to load and then face lather. With the Maggard Synthetic knot in this brush there will be no soak on the brush. Just on the puck of Mitchell's, then a load with a dry brush.

At first I thought maybe I had made an error. Seemed like it was taking a long time to load and then I looked and realized it was loading just fine. Just no extra bubbles working outside from the excess water. Because there was no excess water from the brush. After about a minute of loading I wet my face and started lathering. Easy, peasy. Nice, slick, cushiony, beautiful lather appeared about as easily as Arko. The first pass with the Fatboy and Voskhod was smooth and very nice. The second lather - just as easy as the first. It just kept lathering out of what looked like a mostly empty brush. Second pass got me to a near-BBS with no irritation and a great feel. So, enough of that. Now let's see what's left in the brush.

Gave it a squeeze and got a handful of lather out of it. Enough for at least one more pass if not two more passes. Incredible! How in the world did it do that? Rinsed it out, shook it out and put it in the brush stand to dry and called it one very nice shave.

Very busy day at work today which is exactly what I wanted. Kept us moving the entire time and we blew away the budget not only for today but for the entire weekend sale. I do work tomorrow for the final day of it but it's all gravy at this point. Tired but very happy here. Hope you had a great weekend too!

The Cartel handles most shipments now. We have fewer problems with borders than most, but you didn't hear that from me.
