How do my shaves keep getting better? I must have the angle dialed in. With 2 passes, WTG/ATG and careful clean-up, and the same process I did yesterday, my shave was smoother, cleaner and closer. I have to admit, the blade pulled a little when I didn`t pay attention to the angle. I don`t know how long these type blades last, surely more than 4 shaves. This mornings shave was definitely dolphin smooth. A happy camper am I. God Bless and great shaves to all.

Lather: Stirling Margaritas in the Arctic
Post: Witch hazel splash, TSD Iced Yin Yang
    WTG, touch-up

Nice and easy menthol Monday edition with Stirling MITA. Beautiful lather and nice, cooling experience with the soap. One pass with touch-up for a smooth shave with the Black Hawk. Iced Yin Yang added another layer of cooling for a nice shave.

    Have a great day!

Today is the first day of winter break, but the weather is like spring, so I went with my favorite spring scent: 42. It was an excellent shave of two days growth.

    Soap: B&M 42
    Brush: Brothers Bristles Bronze Shadow
    Razor: Futur

Since the scent blend has notes of Sugar Cane Rum and woods in it, I tried to get creative with the name and referenced the rum running ships that smuggled rum into the US during prohibition. I think the name has caused customers to think it is some type of Bay Rum scent. So much for my creativity ha!

During my past few shaves, I've been combining my XTG and ATG passes into one pass, depending on which direction the beard grows, and it's been working out great. Two passes with minor touch up for an excellent and smooth BBS shave today.

That is a very nice brush. What is the wood? What is the finish? I like the sheen.

What a nice setup. Snazzy shave tonic. I really like that bowl it reminds of things my grandfather used to make.

This hand crafted shave scuttle is a dream to use. It is very easy to whip up a great warm lather with this bowl, brush and soap. My usual 3 passes with a minor clean up.
