2/27/2017 sotn last night's shave. Love sterling's sample size, I put them in gold containers and tape the label on! schick type e , chick 3rd shave. just wow, close shave!
Another fun-filled, great shave just before with the Bulgarian Viking Sensitive cream. This is the newer version which differs completely from the old one and it's also nothing at all like the Viking Sensitive cream from Russia. This cream has a nicer scent than the older kind but the lather is just as good or better, and it's very soothing with a mild cooling effect. The Max Refreshing aftershave is also Bulgarian-made, and easily as cold as Mennen Skin Bracer or Aqua Velva.

SOTD February 28, 2017 Blade: Chinese Schick Razor: Schick I1 injector Brush: Two band badger with Surrey handle Lather: Route 66 Perfect Storm Post: Witch hazel splash, TSD Iced Barber Shoppe WTG, touch-up Nice and easy shave this morning. The re-done Surrey badger whipped up incredible, slick, dense, and well-hydrated lather from Route 66 in Perfect Storm scent. Easy WTG pass with clean-up around the jaw and neck and I'm good to go. Nice finish with witch hazel and some Iced Barber Shoppe from our own TSD Shop. Have a great day!

sure is.....kinda makes you wonder if we're going to have a low-humidity summer, along with this nonsense. We SHOULD have the low-humidity summer anyway, as we aren't exactly south as is Florida.
Are those samples hard to open? I got one as a PIF(Crowne and Crane), about the same size as Stirling, and what a struggle I had to get the thing open.

Day 6 of 30 days of straights My first pass was nothing to write home about. I did open up a cut from 3 days ago and got 2 small nicks. However, on the second pass I found the angle. The razor slid through the whiskers like they weren't there. The third pass was also excellent because I was able to get the angle correct. The result is 75% DFS, 15% CCS, and 10% oops. My trouble areas are still the same as when using an SE or DE. Overall, a very good shave.
