My favorite too. Jared was on the money with it. Best soap in the world. :happy088:

You guys can have my share, I couldn't even bring myself to unwrap the sample I had. I was worried it would look like when the Nazi's open the Ark of the Covenant in Raiders of the Lost Ark...

I have heard rumors that he will be expanding the mutton tallow line this year. I have not actually heard it from Rod tho, so here's to hoping.

If you like piney scents, the Scots Pine Sheep is the exact same soap.

I do like pine. The whole woodsy thing works for me. I'll have to try the Scots Pine Sheep. In the mean time I just received the below in yesterday's mail. Will try it with tomorrow's shave. It too is very woodsy/piney/cedary.

I hope he adds mutton to every soap he makes, Electric Sheep is the most moisturising soap I've ever used.

That sample is up tomorrow in my rotation!! I am looking forward to it. I agree, it smells nice.

I like that Stirling has a large selection of cologne based scented soaps. Which cologne do you thing they should add next?

Wife likes Bulgari Aqua, Dior Fahrenheit and Lagerfeld and let's not forget Aramis and Tuscany (by Aramis). Yeah, the wife and I are rather out of date when it comes to my colognes.

Since she likes these, I would suggest them. What would you suggest?

I would add one more thing. It might be nice if the cologne wasn't priced strictly for the rich that they emulate. More of an affordable, 'every man's' cologne. When it is over $100-150 a small bottle, it is out of my reach for a scent.

My next choice will be either Frozen Tundra or MITA.

I would love to see someone duplicate Lacoste White. I don't know the specific name for it but it's the Lacoste cologne in the white bottle. That's my favorite.

I have some Dunshire shave soap on the way to me! It's based on Acqua Di Gio which is another favorite of mine.

My colognes are definitely mostly old-school and my wife doesn't really like the majority of them. Just Aramis and a couple of others.

I'm primarily a face latherer, but that is a gorgeous bowl! Has a Korean or Japanese feel to it. Very classy. :)

Just posted the below on the SOD thread. Another Stirling soap gets added to the collection:

This afternoon's shave: A most excellent shave. New soap - Stirling Coniferous (blooming away), my G1 Fatboy with an Astra SP blade, SOC Boar soaking, and a splash of Proraso to finish. The Stirling Coniferous is a keeper. Produced an enormous amount of lather. Fits in well with my "woodsy" collection of soaps. Also was very fitting today, as I had just finished a long walk with the Maggie Dog. We went through an adjoining nature preserve which has very "deep woods". Large cedars and douglas firs all around and that deep woods, damp, earthy, mossy, smell surrounding us. Love it.

    Question re: Stirling spice:

Is Stirling spice supposed to be based on the old spice soap or the old spice aftershave or both? It for some reason evokes memories but I'm not sure if this is re: the old spice soap or aftershave.

    Anyone know? Thanks

I honestly can't wait for Rod to bring back the Glacials. I love them so much.

    Jeff,
Do they post here, send out a newsletter or what when they release the seasonal stuff or a new scent?
