I received these today. You two were correct, the toe was chopped off. The good news is that these look just like the pictures. Also, 5 of the 6 feel like they are shave ready, passing a magnified visual inspection and a arm-hair test. I do, however, plan on at least lightly honing each of them before I attempt to shave.

Waiting on a few boxes from various trades and deals with people. But I couldn't help myself and went ahead and ordered a Wilkinson Sword Classic Razor, one of those cheap $10 ones. Have seen a ton of great reviews for them and have been thinking about trying one for a while now. The only issue is that the shipping will take close to a month.
