Today's shave with the ER 1914 was the smoothest most comfortable shave I have experienced with this razor. A light touch and riding the cap were the secret.

    Brush: Omega 10049 boar
    Lather: Mitchell's Wool Fat
Post: Witch hazel splash, Fine American Blend
    WTG, touch-up

Fat Friday! Nice shave with the G8 injector. Smooth, easy, and comfortable. The past two shaves with the Featherweight were really nice also. It's fun hopping around on SEs and injectors!

    Have a great day!

The Speick Shave Cream face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #144 finest badger brush. I did two passes the Every-Ready 1924 and CVS SE blade, I ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse and alum block, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Pinaud Vegetal AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Disappointing shave today. The lather was great; nice slickness, easy to lather but something in it irritated my face badly. I pushed through one pass and called it quits. I really like the scent so that just adds to the disappointment. The aftershave didn't bother me. I recently enabled a co-worker into wet shaving so I'm going to give him this set as a welcome gift as he really likes the scent. Hopefully it doesn't bother him. Have a great day folks!

Progressing chronologically..Feather Weight I enjoyed very much on the beard, very easy to use. On the head shave I found it a bit more difficult to maintain proper angle but still got to BBS without too much difficulty. A bit too light perhaps, I need to score a Heavyweight Flat Top. Happy Friday gang.

I really enjoyed my Featherweight the past two shaves. Neat little razor.

I sure don't. I have a Pushbutton which is perhaps a little more favorable to me than the Featherweight. Those two razors plus the RazoRock Black Hawk are my SEs at the moment. I had a GEM MMOC but sold it because it was too aggressive for me.

Interesting indeed. No problems for me with the MMOC whereas the Hawk on my headshave was difficult to enjoy so I sold it.
