A wonderful this morning. The Rover easily whipped up the Dragon's Blood into a rich slick lather. Sticking with a traditional 3 pass shave, I paid particular attention to my trouble spots as I went. This resulted less touch ups needed to achieve a near perfect BBS with one small weeper. I hope everyone has a great Saturday.

Pretty good shave today. I put in a new Kai Captain Mild blade but it felt a little less smooth than the previous blade. Perhaps it needs a little breaking in. Ended up with a little weeper near my Adam's Apple which turned red. That clouded the waters of an otherwise good shave. Not my best but certainly not the worst. Stirling's Sandpiper was terrific and I love the scent of Mountain Man.

OK Mr. 1909, I'll try to remember that...

 

Yesterday's shave with Feather Weight did not do as well as hoped on the 5 o'clock shadow test. Pleasant but not a top tier shave. Decided in order to maintain perspective I should return to my reference one day a week so Saturday will be Shake Sharp day. So it was. With a fresh Permasharp. Superb.

I want to! First shave with my G Bar, not bad. The shave was hurried so I could get to work, but it felt very smooth. I did 3 quick passes and got a very close shave. I would say this razor felt smoother and milder than a 1912. The razor was comfortably heavy in my hand, very maneuverable. However, I had an amazing amount of feedback from my alum bar. I'm gonna chalk it up to my hurried technique. Tomorrow's another day.

A smooth near BBS 2 pass shave, XTG & ATG, followed by minor touch ups provided a great start to the Day. I finished off the shave with a splash of Fine Platinum. I hope everyone has a blessed Sunday.
