Funky Looking Ever-Ready Set

    I picked this up on my recent antique store run, and I've never seen one before. Does anybody know what the brush was used for? Mr. Irving?

    Thats a way cool find! I don't know but it looks like a shoe brush.

    it sure as hell isnt the shaving brush, so im with spooky: its probably a shoe brush. im not positive though.

    ah, a hair brush. that makes a hell of a lot more sense. and that makes his find a lot more awesome. and me more jealous.

    Jealous? Really? I would've thought you'd have several of these. I sure as heck ain't brushing my hair with this! :happy102

    I agree. I don't think those kind of bristles would work for hair.

    I have seen some Gillette tech sets that are similar. That's cool.

    That's neat, but how do you know it's an Ever-Ready set? :confused:

    it seems to fit. ever ready made some clever/quirky sets in their time.

    on a side note, when you pop open the razor head, it says ever ready :happy013

    the razor itself is a 1924, so somewhere around there.

    On a sidenote, the blade that's in there is still sealed, which is kind of cool. :cool:

    It is a shoe brush travel set. Gillette made one as well except there's was more toward grooming with nail clippers etc..

    Good find.
