    BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR-Cold and beautiful as well as 100% BBS is the best way to describe this shave. The Glacial Lemon Chill soap and the Lemon Chill witch hazel were a perfect duo. A special shout-out as well to my Plissoft synthetic, my Super Speed, and the new Astra! :happy088: :happy088:

    Day 12 of 30 days of straights

    I made an uber-lather again today, thinking that I was doing it exactly like yesterday. For some reason, the lather didn't work, looking right but "grabbing" the razor instead of helping it slide. After 2 strokes I dumped the lather and grabbed another soap. This one worked well.
    3 passes and a DFS without any cuts, nicks, or weepers.

    DIY Pre-shave Oil
    Sampsons All Natural
    30mm High Mountain White set an extra 10mm deep
    3 passes, WTG, XTG, XTG
    4/8 round toe

    Been a really long time since I used a boar brush. This one is extremely soft and easy to use except that I've been using synthetics so long I've almost forgotten how make lather with a natural type brush. Still, got a decent lather and a very nice refreshing shave to start the week. I'm ready to go. Now go enjoy your day folks

    Brush: Canadian Rubber Fuller/Whipped Dog High Mountain-24mmx52mm
    Aftershave: Country Club Southern Oud

    WTG-XTG-ATG (adjusted angles for my beard)

    LASS Woody Lavender today. 20 seconds to load the Fuller/WD High Mountain. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Personna Med Prep still in the Gillette Fat Boy. Good smooth, close shave. I finished with CC Southern Oud aftershave.

    SOTD: Lazy Monday morning shave using this Merkur 39c Slant "Der Vorschlaghammer," Feather Hi Stainless blade, Soap Commander 'Influence' soap and matching menthol aftershave balm, Jayaruh custom 24mm synthetic. It's been months since I've used a DE razor. Much simpler, faster process. Very close and über-smooth results with this slant, but I did miss my SR routine.
