The Old Spice Lime Shave Soap face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #144 finest badger brush. I did two passes the Micromatic Clog-Pruf and CVS SE blade, I ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse and alum block, I finished off with T.N. Dickinson's WH and then Pinaud Vegetal AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Black Hawk again today and it was much smoother and more comfortable than the last shave. I think the blade just needed some breaking in. Smooth shave today with the Black Hawk and Stirling's Margaritas in the Arctic. I like menthol level of that soap. All in all a nice way to start the work week.

    Have a great day!

Second shave with the Heavy Flat Top (I like that better than "G-Bar"). I took my time today and was rewarded with a smooth DFS. This razor is a bit more difficult to maneuver than the 1912, I think solely due to its weight. I kept having to remind myself to grip it lightly so as not to apply more pressure than the weight of the razor. You really want to literally ride the cap on this one, too. Still a real smooth shave. I used Proraso Green today (yeah, I know, wrong pic) and, after TOBS I realize that the Proraso isn't nearly as slick. 20170303_220513.jpg

I get a beautiful shave from the A, my favorite of the Repeaters. The lack of blade stops is the only real issue in securing a thinner modern blade...But on the other hand you won't damage a blade loading manually. AOS Sandalwood Tallow, fresh Plus Platinum.

Love that Type A. Yep the blades are tricky in all the repeaters, but nice shaves, nonetheless.

The aluminum polishes up easily. The gold plate is another matter, mine is spotty.

Another great shave with the C1 this morning. Not the best SE razor in my den but pretty darn good.

The Black Hawk works well again. Efficient razor and fun to use. I'm quite smooth and refreshed from the nice cooling of the soap and aftershave. Really nice shave in the end.

    Have a great day!
