I don't normally shave every day but I need to look more polished tonight so I took my JR Torrey to the one day of growth. A nice shave overall. Surprising how one day of stubble makes a razor smoother. :) Hat tip to @DaltonGang for the Christmas Ho Ho Hone he did on this one.

    Haslinger Schafmilch

I think it was December. The razors all start to run together

Picked this J West up for cheap and sent it off to @gssixgun for some scales and honing. A shorter blade but a nice 1/2~1/4 grind. Wonderful shave.

Tonight's shave was with a newly acquired and honed French razor. I had a very smooth 2 pass shave. A one pass shave would have been fine, but I wanted to use this little vintage boar brush some more. It's a little soft powerhouse or a lathering machine. It performs like a large brush. The results of this shave was a BBS face, without a nick, cut, or weeper. Excellent razor.

Razor- "The Starter" Ro DeLorms, Paris France.
    Brush- Vintage Boar
    Soap- ARKO/Avon Spicy scented
    Aftershave- Shulton Old Spice

Great comfortable and smooth shave. I kinda sorta think I'm liking English steel :happy088:

I used my Genco vanadium today. It was a fine 2 pass shave, with just a bit of touch up, and I had a BBS shave over all.

Tonight's shave was with a newly acquired, and honed razor. I had a "Sensational" 2 pass shave, that was super sharp and super smooth. This razor left me BBS with no issues, and no touch-ups needed. This was an unexpected result from an unknown razor to me.

Razor- Leo C. Benitz "Sensation". Made in Germany.
    Brush- Semogue 1305 Boar.
    Soap- ARKO/Avon Spicy scented
    Aftershave- Pinaud Clubman

Had a bang up crackin shave tonight. I did my touchup on my Trans Arkie. I decided instead of struggling to get my pesky neck whiskers with my straights. I can do a quick neck pass with my favorite injector.

DFS to BBS. I was thinking tonight, that I have not had a single straight shave that gives feedback from my Osma block. I cannot say that about any other razor.
